Discipleship Pathway
The purpose of the church is to make disciples of Jesus. A disciple of Jesus is someone who is following after Jesus with the intent of learning to both think and behave the way Jesus thinks and behaves. A discipleship pathway is an intentional and clear process for learning to think and behave like Jesus.
We believe that Worshiping regularly with others, Connecting with others for prayer and bible study, Serving others, Growing through personal bible study and prayer and Sharing our faith is a life-long path that helps us learn to think and behave like Jesus.
Lifespring’s Values
Our values are the core attitudes that we believe Jesus exhibited in all of his life and they should be the attitudes that guide us as we engage in our discipleship pathway. In other words, our values inform what our attitude should be as we Worship, Connect, Serve, Grow and Share.
Our values have been developed through careful reflection on the teaching and actions of Jesus. Our values are:
Grace, because Jesus offered grace to the undeserving.
Love, because Jesus prioritized people over rules.
Kingdom, because Jesus brought God's reality to Earth.
Unity, because Jesus taught us to be one with each other, as He is one with the Father.
Servanthood, because Jesus sacrificially gave of Himself to serve others.
Engagement, because Jesus moved towards people who were far from God.
